Frequently Asked Questions
The questions churches actually ask us — answered plainly, including the ones where the honest answer is not the most flattering one for us.
Pricing & scope
Cost and What You Get
How much does this cost?
$200/month with a 12-month partnership, or $250/month month-to-month. Both include approximately 4–6 hours of professional digital marketing and development work each month, and standard website hosting is included for normal church websites.
Is there a large upfront website fee?
No large required upfront fee. A church with a poor website or no useful website can begin at the standard monthly rate and focus early months on the foundation. If you want a large website developed much faster, that can be quoted separately.
What exactly is a month of service time?
Roughly 4–6 hours of professional work, prioritised around your ministry. Not a fixed count of pages, posts or graphics. One month might be website building, another might be sermon content, local visibility, or an event.
Are all services performed every month?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. You are buying available professional time and a recommended plan — not a bundle we rush through to say we completed it.
What costs sit outside the monthly price?
Third-party vendor costs: domains, commercial email providers, SMS usage, payment processing, unusual hosting or storage, premium software, music distribution, printing, shipping, merchandise production and outside vendors. We will always tell you before you incur one.
Can we increase our capacity if we want to move faster?
Yes. Your monthly development budget can increase when you need significantly more capacity — a launch, a major campaign, or Google Ad Grant work. It is discussed with you, never automatic.
Working together
How the Relationship Runs
Do we have to know what we need before contacting you?
No. You should never have to know which digital marketing task you need — that is our job to recommend. Tell us what is frustrating you and we will tell you what we would do first.
Who decides what gets worked on each month?
We recommend, you decide. We look at your website, Google presence, content, events, giving pages and analytics, then tell you what matters most and why. You choose what we take on.
Do you replace our volunteers?
No — the opposite. We deliberately do not charge for work capable volunteers can reasonably do. We create the content and hand your team what they need to publish it.
Will you work with our existing webmaster or designer?
Yes, and we often do. We are happy to work alongside someone at your church who wants to stay involved, and to give them finished assets and clear instructions.
How often will we hear from you?
Monthly at minimum — what changed, what it was intended to achieve, and what we recommend next. And whenever something needs your decision, we will come to you rather than deciding for you.
What do you need from our church?
Someone who can make decisions, access to the accounts we work in, approval on anything public that touches your ministry, and your real priorities stated plainly.
Results & honesty
What We Will and Won't Promise
Can you guarantee our church will get more visitors?
No. We can improve how findable, clear and useful your digital presence is. We cannot promise an attendance outcome — that depends on far more than marketing, including the Holy Spirit, your community and your people.
Will our digital outreach pay for itself?
That is our goal, not a guarantee. We work toward helping your digital outreach eventually pay for itself and potentially support other areas of ministry, and we will never promise a financial result, timeline or typical revenue.
How long before we see anything change?
Some things change quickly — correct service times, a clear homepage, working event pages. Search visibility is slower and often measured over months rather than weeks. We will tell you honestly what to expect for your situation rather than quoting a standard timeline.
What if something you try doesn't work?
We tell you. We will show you the numbers, explain what we think happened, and change the approach. You will not receive a report that quietly omits a poor result.
Technical & ownership
Platforms, Data and Ownership
Do we have to use a specific website platform?
No. We work with the platform that suits your church. If your current platform is genuinely holding you back, we will tell you — and if it is fine, we would rather improve what you already have than rebuild for its own sake.
Who owns our website and domain?
Your church owns its content and digital assets as defined in the agreement, and where practical your domain and third-party accounts belong directly to your church. See Ownership & Portability.
What happens to our data if we leave?
We provide appropriate backups, content, assets and exports so you can continue elsewhere. Some platforms limit what can be exported; where that applies, we will tell you plainly.
Do you use AI?
Yes, where it genuinely helps — church-specific assistants that answer from your own approved content, and assistance with production work. Anything published about your ministry is reviewed, and an assistant that cannot find an answer in your approved content is built to say so rather than invent theology.
Will you put ads on our website?
No. We do not place third-party advertising networks on church websites. Where a church sells mission-related resources, donations and purchases are kept clearly separate.
Question we didn't answer?
Call and ask. If we know, we will tell you. If we don't, we will say so rather than guessing.
