Digital Giving Experience
Make Giving Clear and Easy
A giving page should help a person understand where their gift goes and complete it without confusion. We improve the experience around the giving provider your church already uses rather than pushing you to change providers.

Start with clarity
A Giving Page Is Part of Pastoral Communication
Online generosity is not merely a button in a navigation menu. It is a moment when someone asks what the church is inviting them to support and whether they can act with confidence.
Many church websites make giving technically possible but difficult to understand. The link may be buried in a menu, the page may send people away with no explanation, or a person may not know whether a gift supports the general ministry, a mission effort, or a particular need.
We look at the path from a visitor finding the page through completing a gift. That includes the language around the link, the page people arrive on, the way designated giving is explained, and the handoff to your existing giving provider.
We work with the provider your church already uses. The purpose is not to force a platform change. It is to make the experience around that provider clearer, faster to reach, and more faithful to what your church means to communicate.
The practical work
What We Examine and Improve
The right changes depend on your present website and giving provider. These are the parts of the experience we can review with your church.
Findability
We make the giving path visible where people reasonably expect to find it, including navigation, relevant ministry pages, and appropriate calls to action.
Plain explanation
We help explain general giving and designated options in language a first-time visitor can understand without guessing what each fund means.
A focused handoff
We reduce unnecessary steps between your website and the provider, while making clear when a person is leaving the church website to complete a gift.
Mobile attention
We check whether the page and its key links are workable on a phone, where many people will encounter them.
Transparent context
We help make the purpose of a fund or campaign understandable without emotional pressure or vague promises about how money is used.
A responsible review
We bring recommendations to your church for approval. Your leaders decide the funds, language, priorities, and policies represented publicly.
A necessary distinction
Giving and Commerce Should Not Be Muddled Together
A person giving to ministry is doing something different from a person buying a resource or a shirt. The website should respect that difference.
Giving belongs in a ministry context
Giving supports the church's work. The language should explain that purpose plainly and let a person choose to give without being pushed through a sales path.
If your church offers designated funds, the descriptions should be accurate and approved by the people responsible for those funds.
The giving route should lead to the provider your church has selected, with a clear contact path for questions that the website cannot answer.
Purchases belong in a transaction context
A purchase is an exchange for a stated item or offering. It should have its own description, price, fulfilment information, and checkout process.
We do not blend product language into your giving page or imply that a gift is a purchase. A person should never have to sort out whether they are donating or buying.
This separation also makes the site easier to navigate: people can act on their intent without being redirected into an unrelated path.
Working within the relationship
Prioritised With Your Church Each Month
Digital giving work sits inside the same monthly planning conversation as your website, content, events, and other outreach priorities.
Christian Marketing Pros provides approximately 4–6 hours of professional service time per month, prioritised with your church. That means a giving-page review may be the right next step one month, while another month may be better spent on a visitor path, an event page, or a website foundation issue.
We do not present this as a separate monthly charge on top of that service time. We discuss the work, explain what we see, and agree on the priority before making public changes.
Your giving provider may charge payment processing fees or other provider fees. Those are third-party costs set by that provider and remain separate from our service price. We do not represent those fees as our own charge or hide them inside our work.
Removing friction is not the same as applying pressure
A clear giving page should make a voluntary act easier, not manufacture urgency. We can help your church communicate purpose and remove avoidable confusion, but your church decides the message, the funds, and what is appropriate to ask publicly.
We will not turn a giving page into a sales page or treat generosity as a conversion tactic.
Common questions
Questions About Church Giving Pages
Do we have to change our giving provider?
No. We work with the provider your church already uses. The work is focused on the clarity, findability, explanation, and website handoff around that provider rather than forcing a change of platform.
Can you help explain designated giving?
Yes. We can help organise and write clear explanations for the designated options your church approves. Your church supplies the decisions about which funds exist and how gifts are used.
Are payment processing fees included in your service price?
No. Processing fees are charged by the giving provider or payment processor and are separate third-party costs. We make that distinction clear rather than presenting those costs as part of our own service.
Can our giving page also sell books or merchandise?
We recommend keeping the paths separate. Giving supports ministry; buying an item is a transaction. Each can have a clear place on the website without making a visitor wonder which action they are taking.
Will giving-page changes increase our giving?
We do not guarantee a giving outcome. The purpose of this work is to make the information and path clearer for people who choose to give, while letting your church communicate with integrity.
Talk through your church's giving experience
Show us the path your congregation and visitors use now. We can discuss what is unclear, what belongs on the page, and whether this is the right priority for your next month of service time.
